Please be aware when you are looking for a Home Inspector from Rhode Island that he or she is insured. At this time, the state of Rhode Island does not require Home Inspectors to be licensed.  However, most inspectors who do inspections in Massachusetts as well as Rhode Island, like myself, are licensed and insured. Massachusetts requires all Home Inspectors to be licensed and insured. There is a licensing division in Boston where you may check the status of a home Inspector online.
